What types of membership are there?

West Ealing Bowls and Social Club is presently a Private Members Club for both ladies and men enjoying either Bowls or just Social membership. Young people from the age of 7 to 17 years may join as Junior Members but a parent or legal guardian must also be a Club member.

Bowls is a very simple game requiring very little equipment. If you are interested the Club holds open evenings at various times throughout the summer and is able to supply bowls for practice - all you need is flat-soled shoes.

How much will it cost me?

Subscriptions run from 1st November to 31st October. From 1st November 2010, rates will be £95.00 Full Bowls and Social Membership (£55.00 concession), £32.50 Social Membership only (£27.00 concession) and £15.00 Junior Bowls Membership. There is no joining fee and a pro-rata system operates if you join during the current year. (Concessionary rates currently apply to persons of age 60 (Ladies) or 65 (Men) These conditions are currently under revue due to Government rule changes. Junior Bowls Membership applies to persons between the age of 7 and 17years
