23rd June 2008 - West Ealing Progress
West Ealing’s men progressed to round 5 in the Bowls England Top Club competition with comprehensive 5 nil win over Rosedale BC from Hayes last Thursday evening. Nick Skidmore winning the four wood singles by 21 shots to 17, Robin Innes winning the 2-wood singles by 12 shots, the pairs of Kevin Cochrane and John Carey winning by 3 shots in the closest game of the five. The triple of Ian Streames, Rob Green and Terry Pettitt winning by 9 shots and the four of Paul Wilsher, Kevin Simms-Cato, Ken Hodgson and Paul Cater winning by 14 shots. West Ealing now plays against Broomfield BC in the fifth round on Tuesday July 1st at Mervyn Road, 6pm start.
The men played against Ladygate BC in the Middlesex County Double Rink the following evening with West Ealing putting up a strong come back but it was not enough for victory. At Mervyn Road the rink of Paul Wilsher, Colin Harman, Martin Barrett and Paul Cater were 22 shots to 9 down but started on the come back trail to loose in the end by 6 shots. Ladygate skip Tony Waller showing why he is one of the top skips in Middlesex literally winning the game single handed for Ladygate. The away rink of Robin Innes, John Carey, Nick Skidmore and Terry Pettitt were all square at 14 ends but a succession of large counts dropped in 4 ends saw them go down in the end by 12 shots.
Sue Butcher and Val Van Baars have progressed to the re-draw stage of the Middlesex Ladies pair’s competition with two fine wins over the week and now face a tricky game in the next round.
Rob Green progressed in the Ealing and District Singles beating Brentham BC’s Martin Puddle in close game by 21 shots to 20 on Saturday morning.
West Ealing Ladies will again provide five bowlers, Sue Butcher, Brenda Lines, Pam Hughes, Anne Barrett and Rene Barber, to the county for the Johns Trophy game when Middlesex take on Hertfordshire this week. This is a great achievement for the club.
West Ealing’s Paul Cater was part of the victorious Middlesex side that beat Sussex in the Middleton Cup at Worthing on Saturday afternoon by 22 points to nil, Paul's rink winning by 27 shots to 17.
On Sunday Paul Wilsher helped the Middlesex under 25’s win their second game in the under 25’s Home Counties league beating Berkshire by 12 points to 2.
Last Saturday afternoon the club played a friendly game against North Greenford BC at Mervyn Road, overall West Ealing lost the game by 65 shots to 55 with only one winning triple of Enid Williams, Pam Hughes and Roy Bond winning by 20 shots to 8.
On Sunday the club welcomed Shanklin BC from the Isle of Wight, which included former club Captain Keith Beckett. In a full six rink game West Ealing won overall by 142 shots to 96 with the top winning rink of Jan Lloyd, Rena Ricketts, Chris King and President Martin Barrett beating Keith Beckett’s rink by 32 shots to 7.
This coming weekend, on Saturday morning, West Ealing play Herts. BC in the London & Southern Counties Shield with two rinks at Mervyn Road and two away at Herts., then in the afternoon play against Parsons Green in the Richmond & Barnes league also at Mervyn Road. On Sunday afternoon the club travel to Cambridge Park.
17th June 2008 - National Success For Young Paul
Last week saw more success for West Ealing Bowls Club at both County and National level. Pride of place goes to 17 year-old Paul Wilsher who has been playing this season for the Middlesex Under-25s team. On Sunday 15th June, Paul and his young County team-mates beat both Berkshire and Kent in the Regional finals of the County Double Fours competition and have now reached the semi-finals of the National competition. The All-England semi-finals will be played at the home of bowls - Beach House Park, Worthing -on Sunday 17th August. The youngsters of Middlesex will be able to count on the travelling support of many people from West London that day, in particular from West Ealing BC.
In the Middlesex County Ladies competitions, the Club has two Pairs through to the 4th round of this years’ tournament. Val Van Baars and Sue Butcher beat F. Cable and D. Brown of Brentham, and Margaret Hodgson and Jan Lloyd convincingly beat S. Connor and B. Beedell of Hayes BC 30-4 .
The men also have the top pairing of Paul Cater and Nick Skidmore through to the last 16 of the Middlesex Men’s Pairs competition. Last Friday evening the West Ealing men had a narrow aggregate 3 shot win over West Harrow win the County Double Fours and will next play Ladygate (Ruislip) BC in the 6th round this Friday.
West Ealing had club friendly fixtures with Hendon BC and Iver Heath BC over last weekend. On Saturday a combined men’s and ladies team proved too strong at home for Hendon, winning by 115 - 91 shots. The top West Ealing rink was Dick Cunningham, Bob Wilsher, Lionel Singleton and Kevin Cochrane who ran out 36-13 winners.
On Sunday the men travelled to Iver Heath BC and took the edge off the home side’s 60th Anniversary celebrations by winning by 13 shots, 86-73. The top West Ealing rink on the day, which won by 10 shots, was Ray Allen, Dave Lloyd and skip Rob Green.

A ladies team from West Ealing BC has qualified for the final of the Middlesex County Women’s Triples and will represent the County at Leamington in the National Finals in August. On Friday 6th June at Bishop Duppas club, the team of Ann Barrett, Lu Green and Club Captain Bev Wilsher (picture in Club Gallery) successfully navigated through the quarter- and semi-Finals of the County Triples competition against strong teams from Meadhurst BC (18-13) and Wealdstone BC (21-8) respectively. The semi–final was, in part, revenge for the Wealdstone team beating (19-5) the other remaining West Ealing Ladies Triple of Brenda Lines, Rene Barber and Pat Ketchen in the quarter-final. Ann, Lu & Bev will now play against Leicestershire in the first round of the National Triples Competition at the home of English Ladies Bowls in Leamington Spa on Sunday 3rd August – this is the first step on the way to possibly becoming National Champions.
The West Ealing men also continue to make good progress in the early rounds of their Middlesex competitions. The triple of Terry Pettit, John Carey and Rob Green has progressed to the fifth round after convincingly beating (20-9) Phil Sutcliffe, Tony Light and Barry Burgess at Brentham BC. Paul Cater & Nick Skidmore are through to the fifth round of the Pairs having beaten club-mates Robert & Martin Barrett. Both Lionel Singleton and Paul Wilsher progressed to the 5th round of the Unbadged Singles competition. Lionel won a difficult game 21-18 against club-mate Dick Cunningham, who is recognised as one of the top leads in the club. Paul continued his fine season by overcoming Rod Hides of Brentham 21-18.
This year the West Ealing Club joined the Richmond & Barnes League and last week Rob Green had the honour of winning the first ever Competition that West Ealing has played in when beating Colin Staples of Ashford BC 21-14 – a very good win since his opponent is the reigning Richmond & Barnes Champion.
In the Middlesex Double Fours, West Ealing men advanced to the 5th round by a narrow 1 shot aggregate win over Ealing Conservatives. Last weekend, on Saturday the Men’s team narrowly beat North Sheen by 64-62 shots in the Richmond & Barnes League but shared the points 2-2 having only won on one rink. On Sunday, the West Ealing Men v Ladies Challenge match saw a narrow win for the Ladies to round off a successful week.
3rd June 2008 -West Ealing roll on!
Despite some rainy conditions last week the West Ealing Bowls Club bandwagon rolls on with great performances from both men and ladies. Last Wednesday, in the 3rd round of the Men’s Middlesex County Pairs Competition, brothers Martin and Robert Barrett eased past John Walsh and Peter Newman from Ealing Conservatives 22-12, whilst Robin Innes & Kevin Cochrane overcame fellow Club members Terry Pettit & Paul Wilsher 19-11. The same evening, in the London & Southern Counties Fours, the West Ealing team of Ken Hodgson, Kevin Simms-Cato, Dave Lloyd & Roy Bond beat Slough BC 20-10.
On Thursday, Paul Wilsher enjoyed success by winning his 3rd Round Unbadged Singles game 21-9. This adds to a fine season for young Paul who also received his Under 25’s Home Counties Flash for representing Middlesex recently. Also in the Unbadged competition, Dick Cunningham beat Chris Robertson of Brentham BC 21-16. On the same night, the West Ealing men had a good win by 6 points to 2 in the Ealing & District 3-2-1 League against Springfield BC. In the singles, Dave Lloyd won 21-14 and in the Pairs Dave Carter & Ian Streames won 33-7. In the Triples Roy Bond, Tony Bond (no relation) and Tom Creaby narrowly lost 13-14, but it was a win overall.
On Friday West Ealing continued their good run in the Bowls England Top Club Competition by beating South London club Bishop Duppas BC 4 games to 1. The rink of Terry Pettit, Ken Hodgson, Kevin Simms-Cato and Paul Wilsher won 30-9 and the pair of Martin Barrett & Lennie Barber won 22-17. Both Singles games were won, by Nick Skidmore 21-9 and by Robin Innes 14-6 in the Four and Two Woods Singles respectively. The Triple of John Carey, Vic Perry and Rob Green lost narrowly 18-21, amazingly recovering from a 17-2 deficit after 9 ends. The men meet Rosedale BC from Hayes in the next round of the Top Club on a date to be arranged.
In the Club games over the weekend, on Saturday the men experienced an unexpected defeat against Masonians in the Richmond & Barnes League, losing 4 points to 0, with the score 55-67 against. On Sunday, however, the men retained the John Saville trophy in the annual challenge match against Ealing Conservative BC with a 57-48 win, the highest winning rink being Martin Barrett, Chris King, Tom Creaby, and Clive Simms.
The Ladies fared equally well last week with two Triples through to the redraw stage of the Middlesex Ladies Triples competition. The triples are Ann Barrett, Lu Green and Bev Wilsher, and Rene Barber, Brenda Lines and Pat Ketchen. Captain Bev also progressed through to the 3rd round of the Middlesex Champion of Champions by beating Joanne Sculley of Uxbridge 22-18.
Last Saturday morning, the Ladies moved another step along the road to retaining their County Double Fours crown by overwhelming Ashford BC 55-10 across the two rinks. The next round sees the ladies take on Cambridge Park but their confidence will be high after such a convincing win. In the friendly game on Sunday, West Ealing Ladies overcame their counterparts from Gunnersbury Triangle BC by a single shot, 43-42.
To crown a hectic but very successful week, two West Ealing lady bowlers, Rene Barber and Pam Hughes, won the regional heats of the Middlesex Two Wood on Monday 2nd June – held at West Ealing - to go forward to the last 16 competition to be held at Brentham BC this coming Saturday.
This weekend sees the following West Ealing Fixtures: Saturday at 3 p.m.: the men are at home versus North Sheen, looking to get back on track with a win after last weeks disappointment against Masonians. On Sunday morning at 10:00 the men play 2 rinks at home and 2 rinks away against Marlow BC in the London & Southern Counties Shield competition, first round. To round things off, the West Ealing Men v Ladies match takes place at 3 p.m. on Sunday – always an eagerly waited event! Non-members are most welcome to visit the Club in Mervyn Road to watch all matches.
27th May 2008 - A Good Week For The Ladies
West Ealing Ladies, who are the defending champions, started the defence of their Middlesex Ladies Double Fours title with a comfortable win against Hayes Botwell Ladies last Saturday morning. The away side of Bev Wilsher, Sue Butcher, Pam Hughes and Anne Barrett came back well from 15 shots to 3 down to narrowly loose by 18 shots to 20. The home side of Pat Ketchen, Lu Green, Brenda Lines and Rene Barber were never threatened by the Hayes side and came out worthy winners by 37 shots to 18 to give West Ealing victory by 55 shots to 38 overall to progress to the next round to be played on Saturday morning against Ashford Ladies BC with one rink at Mervyn Road and one at Ashford, Middlesex.
Ladies Captain Bev Wilsher progressed in the Bowls England Ladies Champion of Champions singles with a convincing win over Joyce Fleetwood from Bishops Duppas BC by 21 shots to 11, Bev now plays at Uxbridge BC in the next round.
West Ealing’s Men again had a busy week with the start of the Middlesex County competitions. West Ealing’s four of Rob Green, Terry Pettitt, Martin Barrett and Paul Cater crashing out in the first round to a four from Brentham BC. In the county pairs the defending champions, Paul Cater and Nick Skidmore have progressed to round 4 with two wins over the week against a pair from Brentham and then club colleagues Ian Streames and Rob Green. West Ealing’s other pairs all progressed to the next rounds with wins.
On Saturday afternoon the men played against West London in the Middlesex league needing a convincing win to put their title aspirations back on track. The club claimed the win by 8 points to 2 with the rink of Paul Wilsher, Lionel Singleton, Roy Bond and Kevin Simms the highest winning rink by 44 shots to 5.
Sunday saw a change in weather but no change to West Ealing’s winning ways when the Men and Ladies joined together to play at Gunnersbury BC in Acton. The club won well by 77 shots to 49 with the rink of Janine Bancroft, Ray Allen, Dave Lloyd and Ken McCarthy the top rink winning by 28 shots to 14. On Monday evening Paul Wilsher played in the first round of the Middlesex Under 25 singles when he beat Daniel Harris from Uxbridge BC by 21 shots to 14.
This weekend the men play against Bishops Duppas in the Bowls England Top Club competition on Friday evening at Mervyn Road with a Richmond and Barnes league game for the men against Masionians BC also at Mervyn Road.
On Monday June 2nd the club host the Middlesex Women’s County Bowls Association Ladies two woods competition at Mervyn Road starting at 9.30am, all are welcome to the club to watch the competition.
27th May 2008 - Introduction To Bowls Mornings, Update
The successful Open Day on Monday 5th May was followed by 3 "Introduction to Bowls" mornings during May. The third of these follow-up sessions on Sunday 25th May was very restricted by rain (back to normal bowling conditions!) but 4 hardy souls turned up and did manage to enjoy a short roll-up. The Club will be holding Club Nights for new members approximately every two weeks during the remainder of the season. The first date is Monday 9th June, starting at 6.30 p.m. - a reminder that these nights are for people who have already applied to join the Club. We do, of course, welcome enquiries from anyone who has not visited the Club yet (and may not have bowled at all), in this case please call Martin Barrett on 07982 434767 to arrange a visit. 19th May 2008 - McCarthy Swings The Game for West Ealing
Ken McCarthy pulled off a superb victory in the Bowls England Top Club 4 wood singles on Saturday morning as West Ealing beat Uxbridge 3-2 to progress to the next round of this National competition. Ken was struggling on a tricky green against former Middlesex County Singles champion Peter Allen and was 16 shots to 6 behind starring defeat in the face. Then Ken started to pull back eventually winning 21 shots to 19 to boost the side onto victory. In the other games John Carey lost the 2 wood singles 17 shots to 6 with the pair of Rob Green and Martin Barrett losing 21 shots to 10. The West Ealing triple of Paul Wilsher, Vic Perry and Terry Pettitt winning 19 shots to 17 and the four of Ian Streames, Kevin Simms-Cato, Ken Hodgson and Paul Cater securing the overall win by 18 shots to 14. On Sunday morning the club lost to local rivals Brentham in the Bowls England Double Fours by 37 shots to 23. The Brentham four of Brian O’Brien, Chris Robertson, Tony Light and Barry Burgess winning against West Ealing’s Kevin Cochrane, Robin Innes, John Carey and Terry Pettitt by 22 shots to 9. Alan Owen, Geoff Owen, Richard Clarke and Phil Sutcliffe beating West Ealing’s Ian Streames, Rob Green, Ken Hodgson and Paul Cater 15 shots to 14.
West Ealing had a good start to a busy week of bowling last Thursday evening at Mervyn Road when the club played the second of their Richmond & Barnes League fixtures against Harrodians BC. West Ealing captured all four points in this three rink game by winning all rinks and the extra point for the overall win. West Ealing won 76 shots to 40 overall with the rink of Ken McCarthy, Jim Williams, Roy Bond and skip John Carey the top winning rink by 33 shots to 8. Captain Bob Wilsher was happy with the result especially with the close last end win for the rink of Lionel Singleton, Ray Allen, Kevin Simms and Martin Barrett who were never in the lead in their game but went into the last end needing four shots to win the game, which they got, to win 21 shots to 20.
On Saturday afternoon at Mervyn Road the club lost their first game in the Middlesex league against Hayes Botwell by 6 points to 4. Even though the club won on two rinks Hayes won their only rink by 14 shots to give them the overall win. West Ealing’s Clive Simms, Roy Bond, Robin Innes and Terry Pettitt the top winning rink by 23 shots to 15. West Ealing are again at home this Saturday in the Middlesex League against West London at 3pm.
The Ladies of West Ealing had a fairly successful week with the four of Jean House, Sue Butcher, Pam Hughes and Val Van Baars reaching the quarter finals of the Middlesex fours at Holtwhites eventually losing by two shots. On Saturday afternoon the ladies played against Brentham BC where new member Janine Bancroft made her debut for the club in an overall win for the club with Rena Ricketts, Brenda Lines and Rene Barber winning by 30 shots to 9.
On Sunday afternoon the club played over at Ladygate BC where the club won overall by 123 shots to 121, the top rink for the men was Lionel Singleton, Paul Jelbert, Rob Green and Roy Bond winning by 19 shots to 13. The top Ladies rink was skipped by Anne Barrett who won by 32 shots to 14.
12th May 2008 - West Ealing Busy Weekend Ahead
On Saturday morning at Mervyn Road West Ealing’s Paul Cater and Sue Butcher beat club colleagues John Carey and partner Anne Barrett in the first round of the Bowls England Mixed Pairs competition by 24 shots to 6 to progress to the next round although the score did not reflect the game with Paul producing some telling bowls to score well in a tight contest. Ian Streames and partner Bev Wilsher have progressed in the same competition where they will face the winners of West Ealing’s Rob and Lu Green against Ray Goodearl and partner from Brentham BC.
West Ealing BC had no fixtures last weekend but held the first of two Open mornings on Sunday at Mervyn Road where members of the public could come down to the club to try their hand at the games of Bowls. The event was well attended and the club were very pleased with response. On Saturday morning West Ealing’s men start against Uxbridge BC in the Bowls England Top Club competition where the format is 2 wood singles, 4 wood singles, pairs, triples and fours. The game will take place at Uxbridge BC with a start time of 10am. Then in the afternoon the Men play against Hayes Botwell BC in the first George Cairns/Middlesex league fixture at Mervyn road starting at 3pm. The ladies play against Brentham BC away with the start time of 2.30pm.
On Sunday morning the Men play in the next of the Bowls England Double Fours competition against local rivals Brentham BC starting at 10.15am with the winners due to meet either Hayes Botwell or Uxbridge BC. In the afternoon both the men and ladies are away at Ladygate BC in Ruislip for a friendly fixture.
On Wednesday evening West Ealing start in the Ealing & District 321 league division 1 against Ealing BC away.
All in all a busy few days for the Mervyn Road club as the season starts to get into full flow. All are welcome to come to the club and watch any of the games that take place at Mervyn Road over the season.
6th May 2008 - West Ealing Victory in the Double Rink
West Ealing started with a win in the Bowls England double fours on Sunday morning at Mervyn Road against Ealing Conservatives. The West Ealing front ends out played the opposition to give the club a 14 shot to 6 lead after the first six ends, Ealing Conservatives then fought back to cut the West Ealing lead to 3 shots after 14 ends. In the later stages of the game West Ealing pulled away for an overall win by 47 shots to 33 shots. The rink of Rob Green, Robin Innes, John Carey and Terry Pettitt winning by 26 shots to 16 with the rink of Ian Streames, Kevin Simms-Cato, Martin Barrett and Paul Cater winning by 21 shots to 17. West Ealing now plays Brentham BC in the next round.
On Saturday afternoon West Ealing’s men played at Featherstone BC in Southall. The club came out on top with 88 shot to 63 win with the rink of Ray Allen, Tom Creaby, Roy Bond and Robin Innes the highest West Ealing rink winning by 35 shots to 11. Also on Saturday the Ladies played at Mervyn Road against Isleworth BC in a friendly game winning by 47 shots to 20. The triple of Jean House, Pam Hughes and Anne Barrett coming out on top winning triple by 35 shots to 10.
On Sunday afternoon West Ealing played their first game in the Richmond and Barnes league away to Putney Town BC. This is the clubs first season the in the league and gave a good account of themselves even though they lost overall by 3 points to 1. The four of Paul Wilshire, Lionel Singleton, Ken McCarthy and Terry Pettitt grabbing the clubs only point with a 26 shot to 24 win.
This weekend the club have no games but are in mid-week action on Thursday May 15th when Harrodians BC will visit Mervyn Road in the Richmond and Barnes league.
6th May 2008 – Successful Open Day
Blessed with a warm sunny day, the Club’s Open Day on May Day Bank Holiday could not have gone any better. The club drew in approximately 80-100 visitors, most of who went onto the green and tried their hand at bowls. Everyone enjoyed their experience at the Club and we received many thanks for arranging such a friendly welcoming event in the community. Congratulations are due to all the club members who supported the event, running the stalls, preparing and providing food and coaching our visitors. A number of visitors expressed an interest in joining the Club to play bowls and we will hold our first follow-up ‘introduction to bowls’ coaching session this coming Sunday 11th May, starting at 10.30 - we look forward to welcoming you back. Thank you to everyone who attended the Open Day.
28th April 2008 - West Ealing’s New Season Starts in Hayes
The new outdoor bowls season started for West Ealing BC last Saturday April 26th with the traditional opening fixture against Hayes Botwell BC for both the Ladies and the Men. The game was played in superb weather conditions with West Ealing’s men of Paul Wilsher, Ray Allen, Robin Innes and club President Martin Barrett winning by 26 shots to 11. In the ladies game both rinks won well with Jean House, Pat Tedder, Sue Butcher and Lu Green the highest winning rink by 25 shots to 10. On Sunday April 27th both the Men and Ladies played a new fixture for the club against NPL from Teddington. The game, played at West Ealing’s Mervyn Road green, was a good result for the Men with all three rinks winning well but the rink of Clive Simms, Paul Wilsher, Roy Bond and Paul Cater was the highest rink, winning by 32 shots to 17. Both the ladies triples lost.
West Ealing start their pursuit of honours in 2008 with a new Men’s Captain, Bob Wilsher and his wife Beverly Wilsher the Captain once again for the Ladies. The Men start their pursuit for National honours with a game against Ealing Conservatives this Sunday morning in the Bowls England National two fours competition, start time at Mervyn Road is 10.30am. The club also have two friendly games this weekend. On Saturday the Men play against Featherstone BC at The Wolf Fields in Southall with the Ladies at Mervyn Road playing against Isleworth BC. Then on Sunday afternoon the Men play the first game in the Richmond and Barnes League away to Putney Town BC
The club will be hosting a number of County games throughout the season at Mervyn Road, which will include the quarter finals and semi finals of the County Fours competition and an Open Triples Competition with a top prize of £400.
West Ealing Bowls and Social Club are one of the top bowls clubs in Middlesex and welcome enquiries from prospective new members. West Ealing has a full fixture list during the summer and organises social activities during the season at its Mervyn Road clubhouse. The club will be holding a number of open days at Mervyn Road for people to try the game of bowls, the first of these days will be this coming Monday May 5th when the club will be hosting a Spring Fair with Bric-a-Brac stalls and, of course, the chance to try your hand at Bowls.

25th April 2008 – Quiz Success
Following on their success in wining the Glaxo Bowls Club quiz last month, West Ealing finished a strong second in the annual Brentham Club Quiz on Friday 25th April. In the surroundings of the splendidly re-furbished Brentham club house, it was a home team that won by just 2 points from the West Ealing team of Rob & Lu Green, Bob & Bev Wilsher and Martin & Ann Barrett. 17 teams took part raising funds for the Bowls section on another enjoyable evening. The Quiz ‘season’ finishes this coming Friday 2nd May (7.30 p.m.) at the West Ealing Cub with another themed Quiz run by Rob & Lu Green. Please see Club Quiz for further details.
16th April 2008 – Bowls England news
Bowls England have brought in a new regulation under ‘Smoking and Doping’. The ruling in brief is as follows:
Rule 10. Smoking and Doping
10.1 Smoking on the green will be prohibited during all rounds of National Competitions and Championships.

Other games and competitions are not affected as far as can be determined.

4th April 2008 – West Ealing Old Boys Win Quiz
The West Ealing Club held another successful Quiz last Friday evening, again supported by our friends from Glaxo and Brentham Bowls Clubs. In total 9 teams took part and the winners were the team called “BMPAA” which for family reasons we cannot expand upon! The team consisted of Club member Richard Nabarro together with Ian Henderson and Dave Sheriton, both former members of the Club, and John Loosley, who works for BA. Everyone enjoyed themselves and once again our thanks go to Rob and Lu Green for excellently organising an interesting quiz featuring an April Fools theme.
West Ealing Club will be holding one more quiz night on Friday 2nd May before the outdoor bowls season really swings into action. We have the capacity to host 1 or 2 more teams each evening, so if any of our neighbours in or close to Mervyn Road would like to participate please contact Martin Barrett (Club President) on 07982 434767 in advance.
Throughout the winter we’ve had great support for our Quiz Night from our friends at Brentham Bowls Club. Brentham will be holding their own Quiz Night on 25th April and we encourage our members to support this event. Teams of 6, please arrive at the Brentham Club by 7.30 p.m.
