Due to the recent weather conditions, the last stage to enable the grass to establish and more importantly strengthen the green, isn't quite ready for lots of feet and bowls pounding on it and the recommendation is to limit the amount of green usage this weekend to promote longevity

So the Friday night roll up has been cancelled, as has the Rosedale fixture on Sunday

Saturday however in the annual battle of Captain v President this game is still on, which is great news for those that love this battle. Just turn up as draw to who you doing battle with is done on the day . I am sure that the betting has already started on who will gain the clucking rights of the winner. This is always a fun battle so all that are playing please enjoy but be mindful of the tender green and anyone who has any newbies with them please help them as much as you can. Kevin is doing a BBQ and irrespective of the weather you will be fed

As advised previously, Ray Allen is having his ashes scattered in our memorial garden at around 1:00pm so please arrive by 12:30pm

On another note If you haven't filled in this years club competition form then please find attached a form which you can email back to Robin or print off and leave down the club with payment for his attention. There are forms in the chalet too The deadline which Robin is sticking to is May 1st so please get those forms into him sharpish
